TROOP 374 BEAD RECOGNITION SYSTEM

The bead system consists of three or more strips of leather thong. Two of the strips are shorter than the others. The lanyard is to be worn on the belt just behind the right front pocket. Here is a breakdown of the bead colors, and which leather cord represents what.
When a 'Camping and Hiking Record' cord becomes full, an additional cord (that is slightly longer) is added to the bunch.
